The Noise in Redditch started in 2005 when some young people from St. John’s came back from Soul Survivor fired up to put their faith into action.

They inspired a number of others to help and the summer of 05 saw 130 teenagers and 30 adults hit the streets of Redditch to show God ’s love to the town by being involved in 5 community projects and organising other events.

St. John’s ran a more local Noise event in the summer of 2006 in the community of Woodrow. This was followed up by a Noise project in Studley (a neighbouring village). The Woodrow Noise was such a success that another one is being planned for the summer of 2007 and it is hoped that other churches in the town will organise their own local Noise events.
